When it comes down to raw gameplay, Quake is honestly pretty simple. Levels range from small and compact to large and sprawling, but thanks to the quick movement speed of the main character, you'll be able to quickly explore them. Choosing a higher difficulty presents some new challenges, as you'll have to complete stages with dwindling ammo resources and minimal health. Before you enter an episode, you can choose from one of four difficulty levels. Each episode has its own visual theme, so you won't become bored with the same environments.
